MR. DILLIP KUMAR DAS- (Managing Director)
Mr. Dillip Kumar Das is a seasoned professional with over four decades of extensive experience in the manufacturing and repair of transformers. A Graduate in Electrical Engineering from University College of Engineering, Burla, Sambalpur, he has been at the forefront of technological and managerial excellence throughout his career. Mr. Das is a distinguished member of several prestigious institutions, including IEEE, USA; Institute of Standard Engineers; and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers, India. He is also a life member of the Indian Council of Management Executives, Mumbai, reflecting his dedication to continuous professional development and leadership in the industry. After graduating in 1969, Mr. Das began his career as an Assistant Engineer under the Government of Odisha. In 1973, he chose to resign from his government role to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions, establishing a proprietorship business focused on the manufacture and repair of distribution transformers. As the Promoter and Managing Director of Alfa Transformers Limited since its inception in 1982, Mr. Das has been instrumental in driving the Company’s growth and success. With a wealth of expertise in transformer design, production planning, marketing, import, and export, he oversees all technical and commercial operations of the Company. Under his visionary leadership, Alfa Transformers Limited has emerged as a trusted name in the power industry. MR. DEBASIS DAS- (Whole-Time Director)
Mr. Debasis Das is a highly accomplished professional with over three decades of rich experience in the power industry. A graduate from Utkal University, Mr. Das also holds an MBA degree from the prestigious Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB). Mr. Das began his career as an Assistant Manager (Marketing) with Alfa Transformers Limited, where his sincere and dedicated efforts significantly contributed to increasing the Company’s sales in the domestic market. Demonstrating exceptional leadership and business acumen, he advanced to become the Whole-Time Director of the Company, a position he has held with distinction for the past 27 years. Under Mr. Das’s visionary leadership, Alfa Transformers Limited has achieved remarkable milestones. Despite challenges during the pandemic, the Company witnessed a dramatic rise in its share price—from ₹7 per share during the pandemic to an impressive ₹117 per share currently, reflecting the trust and confidence of stakeholders in his strategic direction. Mr. Das’s commitment to excellence is not limited to business performance; he has also built strong relationships across all levels of the workforce, fostering a culture of collaboration and trust within the organization. MRS. SUJITA PATNAIK- (Non-Executive Director)
Mrs. Sujita, the Woman Director of Alfa Transformers Limited, brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership in strategic planning, business operations, and corporate governance. Her expertise lies in formulating and executing strategic plans, fostering strong interpersonal and communication skills, and upholding the highest standards of ethics and transparency. She has played a pivotal role in maintaining corporate integrity, contributing significantly to the reputation and governance framework of the organizations she has been associated with. Previously, she served as a Director in Galaxy Medicare Limited, where she gained deep insights into regulatory frameworks, business management, and industry best practices. Mrs. Sujita holds a Bachelor's degree in Science with Botany (Hons.), from Utkal university which complements her vast industry knowledge. Her strong commitment to ethical business practices and governance makes her a valuable asset to Alfa Transformers Limited. Prem Sagar Mishra (Independent Director)
He has extensive 12 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector, having worked with Axis Bank Ltd. and HDFC Bank Ltd. as a relationship manager and he has been associated with the Motilal Oswal Group as a Business Partner. Mr. Prem Sagar Mishra, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Services from Manipal University, Bangalore and a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from BPUT, Odisha (2010).
Rashmi Ranjan Satapathy (Independent Director)
Mr. Rashmi Ranjan Satapathy is a Practicing Company Secretary with over 15 years of extensive experience in legal, secretarial, and corporate governance matters. He is a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Utkal University.
